User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020813 Netscape/7.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020813 Netscape/7.0
During "send page..." of a website with a very long url, the progress meter
extends beyond the width of the mail compose window to the full width of the
screen at right.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a site with very long url. Example:
http://forums.com.com/group/zd.News.Talkback/zdnn/tb.tpt/@thread@71667@F@1@D-,D@ALL/@article@71489?EXP=ALL&VWM=hr&ROS=1&PAGETP=2100&NODEID=1106&SHOST=zdnet.com.com
2. Select "File: Send page..." from menu.
3. Address email and click "Send".
Actual Results:
Observe: Exceedingly long progress meter dialog. In screenshot (posted below),
screen resolution was set at 1600x1200; progress meter dialog is 1090 pixels wide.
Expected Results:
Progress meter dialog should be relative to the width of the compose mail
window. More like 392 pixels, which is the size of the dialog for a typical
length url during "send mail", following same steps/settings as above.
I am not seeing this in my debug builds nor in the release builds -
Win2K 2002082008.
Well, I am seeing this, clear as day, but only on the branch. I'm not seeing it
on my self-built Mozilla trunk.
Uh, apparently varada himself fixed this a while back (27th of June).

Dup of the trunk bug. We're going back to the trunk for Buffy, and it's too
late for the MOZILLA_1_0_BRANCH.
