Steps to reproduce:
When using 2 monitors on which one monitor has the Gnome wayland fractional scaling enabled and running firefox with the native wayland backend, firefox fails to re-scale when moved from one monitor to the other.
To reproduce:
- Use 2 monitors, one with fractional scaling set to eg. 150% and one on 100%
- Open firefox on one of the two
- Move firefox to the other monitor
I think the same issue is also triggered when only using one monitor and changing the scaling of that monitor while firefox is open, but I'm not sure that that is the same issue.
Actual results:
Firefox is not rescaled, which when moving to the scaled monitor leads to Firefox being rendered at 200% scale.
When moved in the other direction it is scaled down and most of the window is occupied by black borders. I can provide screenshots if you want.
Expected results:
Firefox should rescale when switching between the monitors as every other Gtk3 app.

Because this bug's Severity has not been changed from the default since it was filed, and it's Priority is P3 (Backlog,) indicating it has been triaged, the bug's Severity is being updated to S3 (normal.)
This doesn't happen anymore on Fedora 32 with Firefox 76.0.1, so I'm closing this.
Now everything scales correctly on both monitors.

I just encounter this bug on sway master and latest firefox (103.0 & 103.0b9).
Open firefox and then change its window into float mode makes firefox crash.
Other way, open video in picture-in-picture mode then move the window from scale of 100% monitor to scale of 125% monitor also makes it crash.
