163366 - Provide ability to leave messages on server for 'n' days then remove (pop mail account)

In Mail & Newsgroups account settings dialogue -> "{some POP account}" ->
"Server Settings" is a check box for "Leave messages on server".

Could there be an option to leave messages on the server for a set number of
days, as well as the current option of "Delete messages on server when they are
deleted locally".

(I like to do this as it gives me a chance to backup my system before the mail
is gone from my ISP).
