For a long time now, Firefox developer takes so long to start and become responsive, I have stopped using it. Unresponsive means 3-4 minutes before anything registers. And this is without restoring any pages!
I attach an image of my active extensions.

I disabled Web Developer, and it still takes over 2 minutes to start. Might be speed dial.

Disabling Speed Dial fixed this. Alas. I really like Speed Dial.

Extensions can have dramatic effects on browser startup time. Individual extension developers may be willing to investigate slow startup performance. profiler.firefox.com can help with this.
