The Web Share API gained the ability to share files.
Support for it is in the WebKit trunk, and shipping in Chrome, so the sake of parity, it would be nice to support it in some way.

The component has been changed since the backlog priority was decided, so we're resetting it.

The Web Share API has been available behind the preference setting dom.webshare.enabled since Firefox 71 (December 2019). Is there any update on when it may move out of experimental features to a default?
