Details

Currently, the key details dialog shows a radio button with 4 elements to define the key acceptance, and a short introduction on top.

Enhancement suggestion from Alessandro:

Show an additional text below the radio select, which dynamically changes based on the selected radio button. The text should describe what consequence the current selection has.

If "undecided" is selected:

  • this key will not be used to encrypt
  • signatures from this will be shown as uncertain

If "rejected" is selected:

  • this key will not be used to encrypt
  • signatures from this will be shown as invalid

If "unverified" is selected:

  • this key may be used to encrypt
  • signatures from this key will be shown as valid, but from an uncertain identity

If "verified" is selected:

  • this key may be used to encrypt
  • signatures from this key will be shown as valid, and from a verified identity
