Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 3 Mozilla 1.1b When installing (mozilla-win32-1.1b-installer.exe), the installer quits with an "Out of memory!" message during copy components stage. Both disk volumes have more than 2GB free. Computer memory: 256MB

Retried the install. Still the same "Out of memory!" error. Has anyone tried this with Windows 2000 SP3 (Service Pack 3 is just out 2 weeks). No other users may have SP3 installed. Don't dismiss this bug. It is not resolved. Installs of Mozilla 1.0 and 1.0.1 went OK.

still unable to reproduce. - what other processes are runnning? Hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to get a full list. - Try exiting all programs and reinstall mozilla. - Are you running an antivirus?
Although the image mozilla-win32-1.1b-installer.exe was exactly the right size, the problem stems from a fallen bit in the download. The "Out of memory!" error occurred during then unzip phase. After downloading then image again and retrying the install everything worked fine. So, you can add to your listy of standard replies: "redo the download and try again". Thank you for your patience and for a great product. Kind regards ;-} Dick

hmmm... an out of memory error shouldn't be shown when it's in fact a verification error. perhaps another bug should be opened on that one...
