Specifically the contact will be vtamas. Tracking issue for the PI request is here - Test rail cases are here.

Specifically, the process for testing is as follows:

  1. QA to attach sync ids and associated email addresses for testing to this bug.
  2. Ops to move sync ids to test node, then notify QA when complete.
  3. QA to sync all data again to test node for all sync ids, then notify Ops when complete.
  4. Ops to start migrating sync ids, in communication with QA.
  5. QA tests during and after the migration.

Erik; does this timeframe work for you (if not, happy to adjust)? And, I assume you'll need sync ids ahead of time?

Attaching a file with the serverside logs. We should disregard produser27@mailinator.com (145078666) . I failed to migrate the data to spanner before the client sync was initiated, so it found some previous data and then reconciled.

145078442 did a minimal sync at 14:22:28, then did another sync 30 seconds later where it uploaded a lot of bookmarks.

145078653 did a download of bookmarks.

145078212, 145078221, 145078418, 145078987, 145078901 had initial syncs that were typical of using the about:sync add-on - no mass uploads or downloads.
