User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0
Steps to reproduce:
on my giant (14") screen, when i visit a website that should is actually quite readable: https://macwright.org/2020/05/10/spa-fatigue.html i'm having trouble focusing on reading it because it's centered surrounded by lots of nothing
but the same thing happens in Readability mode.
Actual results:
I can't read text (that's my problem)
but I also can't fix it Readability https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1069513 as this stopped working some time in the past 5 years.
Expected results:
I'd like Firefox Readability mode to add another set of buttons to align the Text in the left or right half of the screen.
but why don't you just run your browser in half-size then?
because then, half the "apps" in my browser break (but not enough to fall to mobile), because given my GIANT fonts, or …whatever, i don't know
maybe i should simply just create a 3rd profile (i already have one dedicated to »social media«) for »reading«, since this does seem to be very distinct set of actions compared to »browsing the web«

It's been pointed out to me that mixing behaviour exptected from Firefox / Readability, while mentioning features handled by a window manager might be confusing, so let's try to extract the key essence here:
In addition to controlling the width and the spacing, i'd like to have another set of buttons for aligning the text left or right, instead of only centered.
that would allow me to keep the nothingness surrounding the text only to one side, and hopefully reduce my distraction (or distractability) by half.
failing that, i guess i'll continue to mostly read on my phone, since it's become really hard to do so on my laptop.
