User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020820 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020820 In the latest builts, I can't launch Mail window no matter which way I use, like clicking on its small icon on the lower left corner of the browser window or click from the menu. I noticed the following JavaScript error in the JS Console: Error: GetThreadTree is not defined Source File: chrome://messenger/content/mail3PaneWindowCommands.js Line: 735 Is this the cause? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I have the same problem, it occours for me when mozilla crashes when I have the mail window open. Afterwards, I can't open the mail until I kill the mozilla process. When I click on the mail icon, I do get a blank entry in the window menu though, so something is happening.
You're luckier than me. Even if I had killed Mozilla process, I still couldn't get Mailer to work. Since I use Mozilla-win.zip, I've even tried to unzip again and put in new files, but that was useless.
I think I've found the cause. I was using "SkyPilot" theme taken from MozDev: http://themes.mozdev.org/skins/skypilot.html It's written that the skin works for Mozilla 1.0, but since mine is 1.1b, probably that's the problem. It is really annoying that every new version breaks those wonderful skins which worked perfectly with old versions. Skin designers don't have all the time to upgrade their masterworks!
