Add support for creating tab containers that have an associated passphrase which is used to encrypt and lock the container. When you lock the container, all its tabs are closed, with their current state encrypted into the container's data store. When the user chooses to reopen the container, they're prompted for the passphrase, which is used to decrypt the container and reopen its tabs.

This would be fabulous for things like:

  • Users who work on contract projects for multiple clients; they can keep their work for each client encrypted and private relative to each other and their everyday browsing
  • Users who need to keep confidential or secret work safe
  • Users who want to obscure material they don't want their partners or children to be aware of
  • Containers for personal finances and online banking

This would be a great tool for supporting people who have been forced to transition to working at home, as well as for anyone who does private or secret work, or has things they want to keep both organized and secure.
