RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 47805

People

(Reporter: henrypijames, Assigned: dveditz)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 MultiZilla/v1.1.21
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 MultiZilla/v1.1.21

Wenn you click a xpi install package, a dialog appears showing you the name and
the URI of the package and asking you if you want to "Install" or "Cancel". But
sometimes you just want to download it. It would be nice to have an additional
"Download" button in that dialog, and to have the URI put in a read only edit
box so you can simply copy the URI and download the package externally.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any Mozilla addon page.
2. Choose to install the addon.

Actual Results:
A dialog showing the name and the URI of the package, and asking you to
"Install" or "Cancel".

Expected Results:
The URI shown in a read only edit box, and an additional "Download" button.
