Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Google Calendar and set it as Pinned tab
- Set some reminders inside Google Calendar
- Go to a different tab than the Google Calendar one
- Ensure Firefox restores session on startup
- Close Firefox
- Open Firefox again and wait for the notification
Actual results:
Although both audio and video autoplay are allowed, the notification doesn't play any sound (unless you specifically click the play button in the tab once it tries to play the notification sound).
Expected results:
There should be a way to allow background sounds autoplay, specifically for purposes of notification sounds of background tabs. Similar cases are Outlook/Gmail.
