Similar to bug 1614972, the URL of events in the reminder dialog should also be clickable.

Do we need a beta uplift for this?

We should yes

Make event reminder dialog location URLs clickable. r=pmorris

Arrived here thinking it might be a partial solution to easy access to meeting links within the body (description) of an event, which I receive often. Unf. event content only appears to be available as a pop-up, you can't "open" an event to read without editing.

Having read through all refs from here it became clear that this fix was an "event header" only method and then only from the reminder, not from the actual event entry shown on the calendar.

In the hope of a workaround I tried manually editing something into an event subject locally - from calendar view (not sure why I can but I can) but this yields nothing clickable. I'm unable to edit any location field in received events that don't have one, so I can't transfer a link in description to a location, which would at least reduce the burden when receiving repeating events.

Can't find any bugs/improvements related and wondered if those that know here are aware of any work going on around this that I can see and comment on or should I raise something myself?

Bug 1659558 fixed the body. That's not yet on 78 though.
