Hi,
@jjoeandjo@optonline.net Could you please add more steps to reproduce this issue? Also could you attach a video of whats your actual results.
Please try on our latest nightly build, you can download it from here: http://nightly.mozilla.org/ and in SAFE MODE in case any addon is causing this behavior.
Thanks.

does not remember sign on or password
Do these steps describe your issue? If not, could you describe the steps needed to reproduce it?
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to https://www.optimum.net/
- Log in, save login when prompted
- Sign out
- Navigate to the login page
Expected:
- Username and password should be autofilled
- Username and password should be yellow
Actual:
- Username and password are empty
- Username and password are yellow
sign on should not jump... per optimum this is a firefox problem
I can repoduce the page jumping on Chrome and Safari, so there's probably nothing we can do about it. That's just how they've written their website.

Until I hear back I'm going to assume that comment 3 was your issue @jjoeandjo@optonline.net, please comment if that's incorrect.
Logs suggest that we are successfully filling a login into the page (which would explain why the input fields are yellow), but that they are being cleared after the fact by the site. If you check about:logins
, you should see that we are remembering the optonline.net login. Tier 1 support staff typically get a lot of reports that ARE browser compat, so it's not uncommon for them to reflexively blame the browser, but this isn't us.
If this pattern becomes more common we might look into ways that we can deal with it, but it's pretty hard to handle a website that's actively trying to defeat password managers. Chrome is filling as expected though, so it's definitely possible here. We're tracking the problem in bug 1540664.
Thanks for reporting, sorry I can't be more helpful!
