Request Description
WebRTC Tab Sharing in Firefox. Require a review of the feature and design options for the UI in Firefox.
Currently Firefox supports Window and Desktop sharing in WebRTC, when it is activated in Firefox by the web page, the user is prompted with a drop down menu listing the titles of the Windows or "Entire Screen". Adding lists of Tabs to share to this drop down does not seem ideal from a UX perspective. In the current state it can be difficult to find the Window you are looking for just by the titles in the list.
In Google Chrome, you are presented with a richer UI that provides icons and preview images for Entire Screen and Windows. For Tab Sharing there is a separate list of tabs with icons.
Deadline
This feature has been approved to ship in Firefox 80. To give enough time for development in the 80 cycle, we require this back as soon as possible.
Priority Level
(1 = High 2 = Medium, 3 = Low):
1 - High.
Priority Level Description
This is a feature requested by Vicky Chin to ship in Firefox 80.
