@fluent/react was released in April and now offers a more practical API of the LocalizationProvider. See the relnotes in: https://github.com/projectfluent/fluent.js/blob/master/fluent-react/CHANGELOG.md#fluentreact-0120-april-7-2020
Due to the migration to TypeScript, the API of Localized had to be changed as well. Let me know if you'd like me to help with the upgrade!
