Though... the documentation of the glean_core API doesn't explain the lifetime of the debug tag we hand it. Does it only get sent on the next ping? Is it persisted (across app restarts) until you set an empty tag? (How does one clear it?)
Let's make the documentation on the debug view tag more detailed.
