The selfserv tool is using the legacy verifier, which does not conform to practically any modern WebPKI standards and is unmaintained. This bug is to rework these tools to use mozilla::pkix for verification tasks.

The meta keyword is there, the bug doesn't depend on other bugs and there is no activity for 12 months.

The main prereq for this bug is the integration of moz::pkix into NSS to replace the existing libpkix.:).
