Additional there is another error: If the "advanced" button at the smtp-server setting has been pushed, and the window for advanced outgoing (smtp) server settings is closed, the "mail and newsgroup account setting" sticks on the smtp-server setting. Means, one cannot select other setting. One has to close the "mail and newsgroup account setting" dialog via "cancel" ("ok" does not work then any longer) to change account settings. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.edit->mail&newsgroup account settings->Outgoing Server(Smtp)->Advanced 2.add a server 3.press ok 4.select an account to edit 5.close the mail&news account setting dialog (press ok) 6. press cancel to close the dialog 7.edit->mail&newsgroup account settings->Outgoing Server(Smtp)->Advanced 8.select an account to edit 9. press advanced 10 click the listbox for selecting an outgoing server Actual Results: after step 4: nothing. the dialog sticks to the smtp-server dialog after step 5: nothing after step 10: only the default server is in the list Expected Results: after step 4: show the proper dialog after step 5: close the window after step 10: list all smtp-servers which are added before

I see this problem as well but only when the new smtp server specifies a username to be used for smtp auth.

I think this may be a dup of bug 86370 . Depends upon whether or not the original reporter was setting the username for the new smtp server.
