RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 971044

People

(Reporter: jpvidalpiesset, Unassigned)

Details

(Keywords: parity-chrome)

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0

Steps to reproduce:

Have not found a way to get Firefox to translate reliably- pages I visit. Found some extensions but "the best one" breaks on several sites. (https://github.com/itsecurityco/to-google-translate)
Is there a way to implement translation "directly" into the browser as Chrome/others do -without extension.
++ Just recently moved to a foreign country and found myself in the necessity of using other browser because of the language. This makes me wonder how many other users are kept away from Firefox because they are in the same situation? (or simply the non-english speakers?)

Actual results:

No "in built" translation for sites, making the web a "strange place" if you don't speak every language.

Expected results:

Have pages translated to my language of choice/language of my browser.
