Steps how to reproduce with installation of unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.4beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build 20200604210008 (Default Classic Theme, newly created User Profile) on German WIN7 64bit:
- open http://www.pkcarlisle.com/blog.html (sample for "Bug 1009203 Colors used in Composer are changed when editing an existing HTML page")
- Menu ˋFile → Editˊ
» Page opens in Composer - Save file on HDD
- Click '<HTML source> tab
» Expected: HTML source shown
Actual: SM freezes with high CPU load 😥
Additional info
a) also a problem with newly created User Profile
b) I will check later with which version that problem appeared.

It does not freeze. It just takes some time to load/build the source tree. Rest assured composer was never designed for these types of websites.

It will probably never fixed. Would need a rewrite to handle these large html blobs and later web features. It is ok for small and simple stuff only.
