Steps to reproduce:
I installed the newest Firefox update.
Actual results:
The language preference for websites reset to German, even though I use my browser in English all the time.

Sadly, it's a known problem. The good news is that it's actively worked on.
In the meantime, go to about:addons and manually search for updates for your language packs (in the Languages pane). Then restart the browser.
