User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Type query quickly in address bar, e.g.,
firefox nightly 80 - Hit enter quickly
I'm using the address bar for search. Additionally, my search suggestions are configured to provide search results.
Actual results:
The query gets truncated, e.g., firefox night instead of firefox nightly 80.
Expected results:
Search should use the full query.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

I notice it will sometimes take one to two seconds for the address bar to update the search link, which breaks quick searches.
