when i try to create a link on a web page in the composer, i am not able to paste a previously copied link address in the link location of teh link properties dialog box. This is pretty annoying, specially when the URL is pretty long and cryptic. This seems to be a bug that i have (randomly?) expericenced in other parts of Mozilla (and NS6+ for that matter) as well....
You sure you 'did' copy the link right (sometimes you may think you did press ctrl+c, but you didn't)?

ok, let's be a bit more specific: - I have tried this today, before i posted the bug report, with the latest Mozilla 1.1 download, available since August 26th, with the build string "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826" - I can reproduce the very same behaviour not only under Windows ME (just in case someone thinks that matters), but also under Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP Pro and Windows 98SE as well - yes, i have verified that i actually copied the link, this is a procedure that i am doing for years, thousands of times since i started creating web pages in Netscape composer 4.x..... - however, i am used to use the right mouse key and the usual context menu to do such operations, and this is the part that does not work. The edit box of the link entry simply does not allow the use of the right mouse key. Using the key commands works, so does the paste with the right mouse key in the source window....
I'm told this has been fixed in recent builds. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 118038 ***

Actually these are all duplicates of bug 136912 but that bug was fixed by (and also duplicated against) bug 118038.
