I cannot reply to certain email messages, getting an error message like the
following when I try to send a reply:
--------------------------------------------------
"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: not local
host chem.harvard.edu, not a gateway
. Please check the message recipients and try again."
--------------------------------------------------
The error msg above was from attempting to reply to a message that had the
following headers:

But while this message has 'localhost' in it's Received From header, not all of
the msgs I've had this problem with have the same... I don't think. But at the
moment for the life of me I can't find other msgs with this problem to confirm
that, sorry! Will post more headers as I come across them (if it helps..?)
Karen
I think now this is possibly to do with the fact I've got multiple SMTP servers
set up. (Albeit not intentionally - the number of servers listed in the
Advanced window of the Outgoing Servers tab seems to increase with each new
email account I set up.)
I recently discovered this, then deleted some of the listings thinking I was
only meant to have one outgoing server.. which screwed up the sending for some
accounts until I manually added some of the servers back in.
I've just done a hunt in the database & think this is possibly indirectly
related to bug 96207, bug 119609, etc?
