For perhaps the last three or four updates, when I update Nightly I receive a Windows (10) prompt to give it permission to update. This is not normal for me and I don't remember ever getting such a prompt before (for mere updates).
Summary: Windows in giving a permissions prompt for each upgrade. → Windows is giving a permissions prompt for each upgrade.

This was caused by the initial patch for bug 1643199; there's a followup posted to that bug and currently on autoland that should fix it.

For anyone still having this issue on Windows nightly, or if updates are unable to run at all, please run the latest nightly installer (or one for at least build 20200717212841) and that should correct the problem.
