[Tracking Requested - why for this release]:
This bug is a regression in Fx80 Nightly.
I have trouble typing about:config
into my Nightly address bar. If I type a
, b
, o
, u
, t
quickly, the b
disappears and I get aout
instead of about
. If I pause about half-a-second or longer between key presses, I can then type about:config
successfully.
The address bar's autocomplete suggestions for domains like "app.slack.com" or "auth.mozilla.auth0.com" overwrite the text I am typing. I don't see this in a clean user profile that doesn't have a long browsing history for autocomplete suggestions.

Harry, I bisected this regression to the following pushlog, which includes your autocomplete changes from bug 1645521 and bug 1645324:

Thanks for the bisection! I'm pretty sure this one was caused by bug 1648468 which is also in that stack.
