clipboard: For example, marking this text, or the text just above it, doing a
CTRL-C and then trying to paste into any other app results in garbage.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Highlight some text.
2. Either middle mouse click paste, or CTRL-C copy and CTRL-V paste into ANY app

Expected Results:
Should have pasted "Garbage from the paste:" rather than garbage.
