The browser launches fine at the end of the install. If I close it, it *never* appears again, no matter how hard I try, and trust me, I've tried about 30 different methods.
Perhaps the window has a saved size of zero by zero, or perhaps it is placed outside the viewable area of my window. However, I don't get a tab in the start bar either, and that *is* worrying. I'm using W2K SP3 by the way.
I'm a website developer within IBM, and I need to be able to test my pages with all popular browsers. It's getting tedious having to re-install absolutely every time I want to run a test!
Even if I uninstall Mozilla and Netscape 7 the re-installed Mozilla has remembered my proxy settings and skin. So perhaps this is caused by a setting that is not deleted by the uninstall?
Repotert, what is your build-id ? (see Help -> About Mozilla).

Also, make sure that you don't share profiles between Mozilla and Netscape. Both
will store your setting in your profile (in C:\Documents and Settings\[Windows
Login Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\[Profile Name]\[random
string].slt\ ), that's why it was remembered after an install.

sorry ...
Installed the latest nightly unders Windows NT SP6a. Mozilla never launches
sucesffuly after the install. Instead of getting the window to select a profile
I get a popup windows that contains text only describing what a profile is. If
I close the windows (click on X in upper right corner) nothing happens after
that. If I attempt to restart mozialla I get a single window that has "ALERT"
in the title bar. The Window can not be resized to see what in it. All I can
do is close it.
Opps, did not page down through all reported bugs today. My problem is bug
165199, which I found by seeing BUG 165720.
