A file with a .Z or .tar.Z extension cannot be downloaded. The progress
indicator goes to 100% immediately. This happens when the file is saved via
shift-click, via right-click/save link target as...
When entering this URL directly into Location bar, error is given:
D:\EMP\somegarbledname.tgz could not be saved, because the source file could not
be read.
Reproduced this in Galeon and Mozilla (older version) on Linux as well.
It does not matter if the progress bar is shown or the download manager.
I have no file associations in the Preferences window and don't use Winzip to
open a downloaded file.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download mentioned file
2. Attempt to locate it on disk.
Actual Results:
Progress goes to 100%. File is not to be found.
Expected Results:
Save the file to the suggested location.
