What version of java do you have? See about:plugins.
Do you still crash after you've turned java off?
probably dupe of bug 57372

Yup, you're right.
Crashes XP as well.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826
It's a dupe of the fphover.class problem. bug 57372

Reopening as bug 57372 is to do with a crash on Linux
Status: RESOLVED → UNCONFIRMED
Component: Browser-General → OJI
Resolution: DUPLICATE → ---
It doesn't crash XP but it becomes unrepsonxive for almost 1 minute as it loads.
This is using BuildID 2002090308 and JRE 1.4.0_01-b03

with very latest nightlies.
Keywords: crash
Looks like it, reporter can you download a recent build and test?
Removing dependency

Yay. The latest trunk build solves this problem.
10.2 (Jaguar) +
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020904
Marking this as a dupe.
Pity this problem exists in the 1.1 builds. I won't be able to recommend
Mozilla to people with something of this scale causing problems in a release
version.
