When I am notified that I have recieved mail via the "mail waiting" icon (the
one in the system tray that looks like an evenlope with an arrow pointing into
it), and double click on the icon to open up the mail client, the client opens
up fullscreen, covering up the taskbar. Note that it only will do this if the
mail window was previously maximised, and then closed. The mail window will not
become fullscreen once it loads, only once the mouse has passed over it.
Double clicking on the now-fullscreen mail client's title bar will make the
window not-fullscreen and not-maximised, but the maximise button is greyed out.
This will remain so (even after closing and re-opening by doubleclicking on the
systray icon), until you open the mail client by the icon located in the bottom
left corner of the browser (i cannot remember what that area is called - it is
to the left of the statusbar).
If this sounds confusing (I know it does) just follow the below steps.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the mail client by whatever means.
1.5: Maximise it.
2. Send yourself some email.
3. Close the client before it checks for incomming mail - keep the browser
window open.
4. Once the background incomming mail check picks up that you have mail waiting
and makes the systray icon appear, double click on it.
5. Move the mouse over the mail window. You will notice that it becomes
fullscreen - even covering over the taskbar.
6. Doubleclick on the titlebar.
7. Notice that the maximise button is disabled.
8. Close the mail window without downloading the mail.
9. Double click on the systray icon. Observe that the maximise button still is
disabled. Close the mail window.
10. Open the mail client via the icon to the left of the status bar.
11. Observe the correct behaviour has returned (maximise button, etc).
