See this profile https://share.firefox.dev/2Yl392t from bug 1659211. Two processes have their main thread blocked for 50s, but the top of the stack is in the idle category, so nothing is visible in the timeline unless one switches to the Stack Height view.

Markus, any idea about what we could do to address this?

Probably nothing. The jank markers are enough of an indication. And with the CPU-based activity graph, there's even less we can do.
