Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.) See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Does this also happen with a new and empty profile? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile

Flags: needinfo?(asder216)

It doesn't happen in safe mode nor in an empty new profile, however if I try to create a new profile, reimport my bookmarks, reinstall my addons and reconfigure the options I can reproduce the issue again.

Thanks for checking! Sounds like you have some broken add-on or extension installed, which cannot be fixed in Firefox itself. Please report to the authors of whatever add-on is creating this problem.

Actually, this is a duplicate of bug 1656310.

Please don't mark bugs as invalid straight away in this case - it is better to narrow down exactly what is going on if possible, i.e. which add-on. Sometimes there are bugs with add-ons that we need to fix.
