most JPGs are fine.

I installed Mozilla 0.9  - did not see bug - windows 2000
I upgraded to Mozilla 1.0 - bug appeared  - 1.1 did not fix it.
it occurs in open window or tab for thumbnail images
It shows a good image then clears screen
nnd displays - the image "..." cannot be displayed because it contains errors.
The JPG is fine in netscape 4.79 and IE 6.0

I loaded mozilla 1.0 on another  windows 2000 machine - no problem.

I checked a NT 4.0 SP6 machine which went from mozilla 0.9 to 1.0
It showed problem.
I unintalled Mozilla then reinstalled it. problem remains.
I uninstalled Mozilla. - deleted all mozilla directories.
under programs and profiles.
reinstalled mozilla - it did the update from netscape again.
Now there is no problem on that machine.

It looks like I can cure the problem if I wipe out all my settings including
existing email, bookmarks, and addresses.

2.maybe if I go back to 0.9 from scratch - then do upgrades???

Verified dup.
Reporter: As a workaround, try setting cache pref to Compare the page in the
cache to page on web: "When the page is out of date"
