Steps to reproduce:
I'm a bit of an amateur researcher, so I have a crazy amount of bookmarks. Something that's always bothered me is the fact the Firefox's Bookmarks manager/Library search doesn't allow you to limit your search to specific folders. For example, I have a huge "Music" subfolder in the "Other Bookmarks" folder. I want to search just my "Music" folder, not the "Other Bookmarks" folder, but Firefox's bookmark manager/library search is only for all bookmarks. Please, there has to be a solution here. I think if the user has clicked on "Bookmarks Toolbar" in, the search field should say "Search Bookmarks Toolbar". If I've clicked on my "Music" folder, it should say "Search Music" etc.

Hi there, thanks for filing this! It's a legit feature request—I'd love to have this for my 4k+ bookmarks, too—but we're pretty short-staffed at the moment, so I can't say when it'll be implemented. Bug 837841 matches up pretty closely, so I'll go ahead and dupe this on over. Thanks again!
