Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox;
  2. In the address bar input: "foobar.example"
  3. Press the Enter key;

Expected result

  • Search is performed for the entered string;

Actual result

  • link is accessed

Regression range

  • will check and provide asap;

Additional notes

  • S4 as suggested severity since it might not be an issue over this string after all.

It looks like a dupe of bug 1655914, do you have a manual test that must be updated?
