User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0

Steps to reproduce:

I started playing a VOD or a stream on twitch.tv and ...

Actual results:

...after some time the video playback stopped with an error saying (after translation):
"Error while decoding media resource #3000" and a page refresh was needed to restart the playback. (Twitch normally remembers the last position in the video and resumes the next time, but if the video playback crashes the position is forgotten making this issue worse when playing VODs). This issue happens in random time intervals. Generally VAAPI works correctly on other websites or if there is an issue, video playback continues after the video "re-buffers".

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core

Thanks for the report! This should be fixed with Beta 81 and Nightly 82.

Is there a chance for a fix in 80.1 ?
