These all result from either sRemoteDecoderManagerChildForRDDProcess or sRemoteDecoderManagerChildForGPUProcess being null which point to a failure in RemoteDecoderManagerChild::OpenForRDDProcess[1] or RemoteDecoderManagerChild::OpenForGPUProcess[2]. Either we're not able to allocate a RemoteDecoderManagerChild or there we're failing on the aEndpoint.Bind(manager) call.

It is at least possible that this is a case where RDD can't be launched due to a mismatched buildid after an update. I've tried the URL in the attached jpg in comment 1 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EChFA_-zFE) and it works on win10 v80 for me (and also on Nightly). The only other thing beyond a restart (to make sure all the process buildids match) would be to try with a fresh profile to see if the problem persists.

The error ocurred only in Youtube.

Either we're not able to allocate a RemoteDecoderManagerChild or there we're failing on the aEndpoint.Bind(manager) call.

It is at least possible that this is a case where RDD can't be launched due to a mismatched buildid after an update. I've tried the URL in the attached jpg in comment 1 and it works on win10 v80 for me (and also on Nightly). The only other thing beyond a restart (to make sure all the process buildids match) would be to try with a fresh profile to see if the problem persists.

The problem came back.

I've tested on Firefox 80.0 and also on Firefox Nightly.
After debugged I saw that the problem persists in RemoteDecodeManager not exists.

Is there a pending restart for your browser? If so, please allow the browser to update/restart and check to see if the problem persists. If so, please try creating a fresh profile and retesting. Let me know your results.

Is there a pending restart for your browser? If so, please allow the browser to update/restart and check to see if the problem persists. If so, please try creating a fresh profile and retesting. Let me know your results.

I've created a new Profile (in Firefox and Nightly), restarted even though the error persists.

I tested in other browsers (Edge, Chrome) and the YouTube works perfectly.

Jorge, thank you for following up on this. Since the restart doesn't change anything, it is not the specific issue for which I was on the lookout.

When I view the video, under 'Stats for nerds' (right click on the video to see this option) I see Codecs av01.0.01M.08 (396) / opus (251). Since it is an audio decoder error listed above, if you see the same codecs listed under 'Stats for nerds' it might be interesting for you to try disabling the pref 'media.rdd-opus.enabled' under about:config. That would give us another data point.

I cannot reproduce this on my Windows 10 machine when watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EChFA_-zFE in Firefox Nightly.
My media.rdd-opus.enabled is true (all prefs containing rdd are true actually) and the Codecs under 'Stats for nerds' is vp09.00.51.08.01.01.01.01.00 (248) / opus (251). Maybe I should try this when there is a pending update fir Nightly?

Yesterday the Firefox and Nightly are playing videos on Youtube normally.
I didn't know what happened.
