This is the Chimera version of bug 47909.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Load the test case (coming up)
2) Move the mouse over the link.

Actual results:
The URL appars in the status bar but is clipped where the progess indicator
would appear if it were visible.

Expected results:
Expected the whole status bar to be available for status text when the progress
indicator is not visible.
