User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/grub-0.92-i386-pc.tar.gz is saved by mozilla as grub-0.92-i386-pc.tar.gz.tar instead of simply grub-0.92-i386-pc.tar.gz Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect to http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/grub-0.92-i386-pc.tar.gz 2. Select save this file to disk 3. Have a close look at the file name assigned my Mozilla Actual Results: Programs don't recognise the file. Expected Results: Mozilla shouldn't add the extra "tar" suffix. Although this is a fairly minor problem my initial impression was that Mozilla was corrupting the download. Windows was hiding the extra "tar" extension since it recognised the tar type as an archive. Since I didn't see the extra tar extensions, this simple name problem inhibited me from downloading and using the file.
