User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Install Grammarly extension in Firefox 80.0.1 in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (with GNOME 3.36.3 + Wayland)
Actual results:
Last couples of weeks I can't seems to see Grammarly option peacefully like before.
There are a couple of tricks/hack to see its menu but this is not normal behaviour.
In normal case, user can just click on the extension icon and I can clearly its option.
But now, I have to try multiple times. I have to press on the extension hard and for a long time, in order to see its menu. Sometimes I can't even remove my finger off the extension, because it can remove the extension's menu which it was showing.
And sometimes this trick also doesn't work/respond.
It has become so hard use/see Grammarly extension menu.
On the other hand, uBO extension's menu is working pretty fine.
(Proof: https://youtu.be/DWgEgCcdU-M )
Expected results:
Extension's menu should have show/revel normally with just 1 click of the button.

Hi Pranav,
Thanks for the detailed report. Just in case, there's been an update on firefox, we are now on FF 81. Do you still have the issue on this version? Here's the link just in case: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
Thanks in advance, Flor.

Yes, I still have this problem in new Firefox 81.0
And I tend to find out this is a bigger issue then what I thought.
Grammarly is completely shaky and hard to see the option as always.
But the thing is this issue might be related to another BIG issue, that I have been having for like a month.
What is the issue, you might ask. This is what I have been experiencing:
- Hard to see the extension menus. (Happens a lot in Grammarly, and happens less in uBO. UnlikIn uBO I have to click multiple times to see the blank page filled with the uBO menus.)
- If I open a tab using Ctrl + A; to see the opened tab I need to press Super key (or any key that can "refresh" the browser). The Firefox response is only visible if I use a custom shortkey or default shortkey of the OS.
This happens a lot. And everywhere if possible.
Like if I select an option to "Customize" the browser, to see the browser:
i) Either, I need to press "Super" key (which show all application running in the browser)
ii) Or, I need to press "Super + Z" shortkey (which minimizes all application.
Help me Firefox. Help me.
Its extremely buggy.
I have no idea why.

The bug has a release status flag that shows some version of Firefox is affected, thus it will be considered confirmed.
