User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0
Steps to reproduce:
Visiting a webpage that will load a video, other than Youtube, will hang Firefox entirely (including all other Firefox windows) until I force it to close.
Example: Imgur, it will load images, but no videos. It will try to load videos, but it will hang.
Most websites are inaccessible without freezing, if they have a video to load.
Actual results:
Hanging, freezing, I can see the spinning loading wheel on the tab up top.
I'm worried if I may have been attacked, or someone could possibly use this to hang the user's input and load their scripts.
Expected results:
It should have loaded the webpage and videos fine.
I checked my addons, I haven't made any changes before it happened.
I went through and disabled them all and checked again, still the same issue.

If you create a second, clean profile ( https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles ), and don't install any add-ons in it, does the same problem occur there?
Hi Gijs,
Uhh, everything seems to be working now. I tested Imgur and the pages that would crash on my normal profile.
I also created a new profile and loaded up those pages as well.
Did something change?

Did something change?
Only you know if you made some software changes (e.g. updates) on your computer, we don't. :)

(In reply to zedd.mx2a from comment #6)
The only difference made was a Firfox update.
I don't see anything in https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-release/pushloghtml?fromchange=FIREFOX_80_0_RELEASE&tochange=FIREFOX_80_0_1_RELEASE that obviously looks like it'd explain this. It sounds like we don't fully understand the issue here, so let's mark it "works for me" for now and we can reopen/re-investigate if it resurfaces (but let's hope it doesn't!).
