Why did you mark this as a security sensitive bug (exploit / vulnerability) ?
That was a mistake - my fault, sorry. But unfortunately I can't change this to normal.

Christoph, do you maybe know what can cause this?

Christoph, do you maybe know what can cause this?
Hey David, thanks for reporting. Unfortunately i can not reproduce the problem on my end (as of now). Could you maybe share some more details on the exact steps to reproduce the problem? Have you any addons installed? Could you maybe paste the output from your web console and also browser console? (FWIW, you find the console in the hamburger menu on the right hand side under Web Developer
and then Web Console
and Browser Console
.
Happy to take another look - thanks!
Hey Christoph! Thanks for the great hint with add-ons, unfortunately I completely forgot to try that. The add-ons which caused the problems was "Alexa Traffic Rank" (https://www.alexa.com/toolbar/policy). When I disabled it, Trello started to load again. Then I enabled it again and it seems to work so far.
Crazy, that the add-on blocked requests from Trello, preventing it to load. So I think there might be an issue with this specific add-on. I forgot to paste the output from the console when Trello didn't load, sorry! But I'll post it later if this happens again.
Thanks for your fast help!

I'll mark this as WFM for now based on comment #5, though I'm a little surprised - from bug 1555057, shouldn't we be showing the add-on doing the blocking in the network monitor?

Honza, is there something to follow up on? The problem is that an add-on blocked loading resources but end users couldn't not easily identify the problem. Also what Gijs mentioned around Bug 1555057 - thanks!

David, you are talking about "Alexa Traffic Rank", but the link (https://www.alexa.com/toolbar/policy) is pointing to "Alexa Toolbar for Firefox". Is this the extension?
I am seeing "Alexa Traffic Rank" for Chrome here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/alexa-traffic-rank/cknebhggccemgcnbidipinkifmmegdel?hl=en
But on Firefox add-ons site, there is only "Alexa Rank" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/minimalist-alexa-rank/
Which one could I test? (and check that the Network panel properly shows name of the extension that is blocking some requests)

Hey Honza! Oh sorry, a mistake - yes, the right one is the "Alexa Toolbar for Firefox" on this link: https://www.alexa.com/toolbar/policy - this add-on did cause all the problems. After installing, it has gets the name "Alexa Traffic Rank".
The "Alexa Rank" from the Firefox add-ons site is not the official one, but works perfectly.
Thank you for your efforts!

Great, thanks. One more question, what exact URL should I load to reproduce the original problem?
Any instructions?

A private Trello board, so I can't send you the link, but the bug occurs on the Trello demo boards too, like here: https://trello.com/b/s9lL7n85/blog-editorial-calendar (from https://trello.com/inspiringboards).
Another crazy bug when you have Twitter, two accounts logged in and "Alexa Toolbar for Firefox" activated: open https://twitter.com/home, log in to your account, add another account with clicking "add existing account" on the left bottom (where your profile name is), log in to another account (if you have one), enable "Alexa Toolbar for Firefox" from above and try to switch the accounts. Won't work.
I hope this helps!

Thanks for all the info!
I was able to repro the issue and I created a bug for it : Bug 1664784 - Extension name on available for blocked requests
