Mozilla's (Win32 version 1.1a, build 2002061104) bookmarks vanish if you install
Netscape 7.0 on the same system. And then file saves cause the system to crawl
painfully slow for 45-60 seconds.
Browsers running on the same system: Mozilla 1.1a, Netscape 7.0 and Opera 6.05
are present simultaneously. Internet Explorer is not.

Are you using the same profile for both?
the installation notes says that you shouldn't do it.

I can confirm this. I have installed Mozilla on a system that had Netscape 7
installed (both in different folders of course). I am using my old mozilla
profile from another computer and replaced the default mozilla profile that was
ceated when installing mozilla. To me, this seems still fine.
But all file access in the mailer is very slow. Receivig a 8MB email takes
mozilla about 2-3 minutes to save. If I delete it from the inbox (to the trash)
it's again 2-3 minutes for moving it.
Summary:
- Netscape 7 present under w2kSP3
- Installed Mozilla
- Replaced default Mozilla profile with MY mozilla profile from another computer
- Started Mozilla
- All file access (in the mail client) is horribly slow.
I do not know of any action I performed that could have messed up the profile.
It should definitely be a Mozilla profile which is only used by Mozilla (but
Netscape 7 is present on the system). Maybe a registry flaw or something like this?
I guess, the bug can be changed to "confirmed".

If mozilla and NS runs simultanously ... do you use different profiles for the
running mozilla and the running Netscape??
Is it only if NS also runs?

No response since over 1 month closing as wfm.
Reporter if you see this bug in newer builds (mozilla 1.5) then search mozilla
for similar bugs. If you don't find them reopen this bug.
