Gnome Xwayland, Debian Testing, MOZ_EGL_X11=1
I had the impression that Twitter flickered once, so I opened about:support and saw:
(#0) Error Unable to set glyph size and transform: 23
I assume this means:
FT_ERRORDEF_( Invalid_Face_Handle, 0x23, "invalid face handle" )
I don't have any further STR. I have seen this error before and mentioned it in bug 1647035 comment 22, but my error (error 23) is a different one than the one described there (error 3).
Nothings looks broken.

Yep. At least it has some clues. Thanks!

This issue does not seem to be related to WebRender as it happens with WebRender on and off. When WebRender is on, however, "ERROR 2019-07-12T14:33:52Z: webrender::platform::unix::font: Unable to set glyph size and transform: 23" is printed to the console.
