People

(Reporter: med.medin.2014, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0

Steps to reproduce:

In Firefox 80, the new loading icon that appears in tabs is really ugly and doesn't give any info about current status, the old blue dot that moves was really cute and meaningful, but the the new one is really static and ugly.

Component: Untriaged → Tabbed Browser

hi, this would only happen if a preference to avoid animations/reduce motion is set on your system. ways of improving the looks of the loading indicator under these circumstances are under discussion in bug 1650028.

Not only the animation, but it's the icon itself that's really not appealing at all, like if some 3years old designesd it.

Some blue half circle that rotates will be much better.
