Reason
there is indication from support requests on sumo that this extension is hijacking user's search traffic and redirecting it to yahoo search against their settings and will and may employ active countermeasures to protect against removal like blocking access to about:support and about:addons (same as bug 1661826).

I’ve reviewed the add-on and found that it uses obfuscated code.
