Perfherder has detected a build_metrics performance regression from push 72bbd447c76d38a3592ed5299dad8e8bad18c3bc. As author of one of the patches included in that push, we need your help to address this regression.

Nathan, this regression is huge, the test seem to be running about a dozen of revisions every half a 5-10-15 days. It's on central from about a week ago. Not sure how much can sheriffs do about it. Please have a look.
